The overall gameplay experience goal of project “The Island” is that it’s:
An easy to pick up and understand game that has a familiarity of popular MOBAs, but with a:
– Completely unique gameplay that an either be played Solo, PvE, or PvP
– Deep narrative and stylistic universe that gradually unveils over time
– Safe multiplayer environment for players of all kinds to play together
Our goal is to create a game experience that’s dynamic and engaging, like how family or friends play games together like during a “board game night”.
We’re dubbing it:
“A MOBA-like Escape Room”

“Project: The Island” is early in development, and we are working diligently to continuously define and refine the game design loops and the core gameplay mechanics.
We are currently proving out the game’s rules and functionality in Unreal 5 as part of the Gameplay Experience Prototype phase of development.
Although there are a lot of unknowns in development, we firmly believe that it’s vital to have a clear gameplay direction of the player’s experience before moving to a Feature Proof Prototype, which aims to be feature complete with our Visual Art Style implemented.
This carefulness to ensure that what we are building is an amazing player-forward experience.
Our ultimate goal is to launch a game that we want to play for years to come, and a game development studio that is one of the best places to be a creative professional.
